Project Snapshot

1. Site Assessment & Planning

Our team began by walking the site, confirming measurements, and reviewing drainage and traffic flow. This ensured a clear plan that addressed both functionality and appearance before work began.

2. Surface Preparation & Repairs

The existing coating was removed and the entire area was cleaned and leveled. Cracks, chips, and uneven sections were repaired to create a flawless foundation for the new surface.

3. Protection & Setup

Coping, drains, walls, and nearby fixtures were carefully masked and protected. Work zones were organized to keep the project area clean and safe throughout installation.

4. Primer & Bond Application

A high-performance primer was applied to secure the bond between the existing base and the new rubber surface. This step ensured durability and long-term adhesion.

5. Custom Blend & Installation

A custom TPV rubber color blend was created to complement the surroundings. The Carolina FlexShield™ system was hand-troweled to the specified thickness, producing a smooth, slip-resistant finish designed to stay cooler underfoot.

6. Finishing Touches & Final Inspection

Edges and transitions were detailed for a seamless look. After proper curing, the area was inspected for safety, slip resistance, and visual consistency before being returned to full use.
